Varenna è raggiungibile in tanti modi: con auto, in treno, con il battello o il traghetto. Moltissime sono le possibilità per un soggiorno in paese, lungo breve che sia. Ed anche solo una serata vale la pena di una gita. I colori del tramonto e le luci della notte, le rive del lago illuminate, i vicoli del borgo vecchio con le ripide salite che vanno sulla passeggiata panoramica, l'incantevole Riva Grande, subito vi incanteranno ed anche il ricordo vi darà emozioni.
Potete lasciare l'auto al parcheggio della stazione o se trovate posto all'imbarcadero, prendere la passeggiata a lago e in pochi minuti sarete da noi. Lungo il percorso i tanti negozietti che troverete, ricchi di curiosità, renderanno lieto e piacevole ogni minuto del vostro tempo.
Varenna merita la vostra visita, anche solo per qualche ora. Ne sarete ripagati.
Getting here
There are many ways you can get to Varenna: by car, train, boat or ferry. And there are plenty of options in the village for a long or short stay. It is even worth coming here just for the evening. The colours of the sunset and the streetlamps, the glittering lights along the lakeshore, the narrow alleyways with steep steps leading to the romantic walkway, the magical Riva Grande, will all weave a magic which will remain with you long after you have left.
You can leave your car at the train station or if you find a space, at the ferry landing stage, then stroll along the lakeshore and in a few minutes you will be here. Along the way, you can admire the window displays in the shops as well as enjoying the scenery.
Varenna is well worth a visit, even if only for a few hours. You will be glad you came.
